Intersection of Hype Cycle & Intelligent Content Applications

Intersection of Hype Cycle & Intelligent Content Applications

April 25, 2025 / in Blog / by Zafar Khan, RPost CEO

More Secure, Easier to Use, Easier to See, Easier to Analyze Data Points.

A few weeks ago, in my armadillo macro-economic mindset, I wrote about the Gartner Hype Cycle for Artificial Intelligence vis a vis xAI. Armand here, RPost’s armadillo product evangelist.

I’d like to now tie this back to the product. This area of “Intelligent Applications” is, in short, applications that have been in the market with clear use cases, like electronic signature services, for example, that are now infused with AI to power them up and make them better. Better meaning more secure, easier to use, easier to see data, easier to analyze data points.

Hype Cycle for Artificial Intelligence 2024

Aragon Research announced (see RPost news) RPost -- a leading provider of intelligent content security solutions -- has been positioned in the “Leader” section of “The Aragon Research Globe™ for Digital Transaction Management, 2025” report.

If one is to read this report, it becomes quite apparent that at least the enterprise digital transformation managers and technology analysts believe in this concept of intelligent applications. A majority of the report discusses how leaders (like RPost) are infusing AI into their traditional digital transaction management applications, and goes so far as to state that those applications that do not will cease to exist soon.

RPost CEO Zafar Khan well stated in the news, “We believe our positioning in the Globe™ for Digital Transaction Management by Aragon Research affirms our laser focus on continuous innovation, not only across our RPost messaging and document-centric products but also in our eSignature, click-build eForms, and Workflow Automation products enveloped within our RSign platform and now available with our RAPTOR™ AI booster. We’re pleased that Aragon Research identifies RPost’s AI infusion for automation and enhanced security as a contributor to being a leader worldwide.”

This Aragon Research Report proclaims content and transaction security as one of today’s digital transaction management essential themes. The report states, “In today's digital landscape, document-based transactions represent one of the largest risks to enterprises, making robust security measures paramount. Criminals are increasingly targeting digital transactions, necessitating heightened security across all industries, not just traditionally regulated sectors like real estate and banking.”

Candidly, I agree with our CEO who further declares, “We at RPost understand that our customers the world over not only are looking for feature richness, elegantly easy interfaces, advanced workflow automation, more affordability, and friendlier people to work with in their eSignature and digital transaction management products, but also more security. And better if the additive security is infused with agentic AI automation arming our customers with the ability to see cybercriminals engaging in their reconnaissance before they begin their GenAI-powered-up impersonation schemes with aim to create financial chaos. This is RPost, with its RAPTOR™ AI booster for digital transaction management security and automation.”

So, I thought I would showcase a diagram that depicts how one can infuse intelligence into content products. This chart shows how we at RPost are doing this.

Intelligent Content Security

The report adds, with regards to the importance of infusions of agentic AI security into digital transaction management products, “With the integration of content AI and copilots, security capabilities within DTM platforms are being fortified. A security copilot, powered by AI, can provide real-time warnings of malicious documents, problematic clauses, or suspicious actors, requiring a convergence of content AI, security protocols, and conversational AI for immediate action.”
